Our goal is to leverage the potential of under-represented employees and to involve all employees involved in the Collaborative Research Centre.

The CRC is intensely involved in the educational and support programmes of the Equal Opportunities Office at the Leibniz Universität Hannover and also supports a few these special programmes financially. The CRC 871 endorses and funds especially the creation of new ideas, initiatives that support equal opportunity programmes.

The CRC 871 aims to involve its personnel actively in the equal opportunity strategies of LUH, in particular to support female scientists in pursuing their career and to improve the work-life balance of its scientists. The CRC 871 also aims to motivate school students to study an engineering study programme and to show how attractive it is to pursue a career in industry and in engineering sciences.
